The Academy of Sacred Drama to Perform Haydn's "Seven Last Words" for Good Friday

Join us for a performance of Haydn’s masterwork.

The Academy of Sacred Drama has been proudly in residence at Calvary-St. George’s Church in New York City for the past few years. This year, Academy instrumentalists will join the church choir and their talented music director, Kamel Boutros, for their Good Friday service featuring an English-language version of “The Seven Last Words of Christ” by Joseph Haydn.

“The Seven Last Words of Christ” is a musical journey through Christ’s final moments on the cross. The service at St. George’s Church will alternate between musical selections and meditations by seven different dynamic speakers.
